Hollinwell is renowned as one of the country’s finest inland courses. It’s a great test, requiring precision off the tee and accurate approach play with heather, gorse, bracken and pine in abundance.
Hollinwell has been announced by the R&A as one of only four venues for both Regional and Final Qualifying alongside West Lancs, Prince’s and St Anne’s Old Links, between the 25th and 29th of June 2021.
The R&A has confirmed that all Regional and Final Qualifying events will be played behind closed doors with no spectators. Access to each venue will be restricted to players, caddies, volunteers and officials only. This is due to the health and safety measures that are required to minimise the risk of Covid-19 transmission at each venue. We understand that spectators will be disappointed, but will hopefully appreciate that these measures are necessary in the current circumstances.
