Hollinwell is centrally located in England with easy motorway access. We offer a very warm welcome to any size of visiting party and can accommodate all forms of transport, including coaches.
Hollinwell welcomes members and visitors of all ages and genders. Before using the golf course or club house, children under eight years of age, should have the approval of the manager / secretary or club professional and must be accompanied by an adult.
For members, guests and visitors we offer superb practice facilities including a 300 yard grass and all weather driving range plus a short game area with balls available for purchase at £2.00 per 30 balls. There is also a practice net, putting green and pitching area.
To make your day more memorable, Hollinwell can provide a starter for £8 per hour, simply pre-book this service with the Office.
There are different levels of restrictions determined by the Course Manager in order to prevent damage to the golf course.
A level one buggy restriction will allow both visitors and members to use two-seater or single seat buggies providing they have either a doctor’s certificate or blue badge, or prove they are in receipt of; A Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or An Armed Forces Independence Payment or a War Disablement Pension.
A level two restriction will only permit the use of single seat buggies. Again, users must be in receipt of the documents mentioned above.
A level three restriction closes the course to all golfers and will only be used in exceptional weather conditions.
If no buggy restriction is in force, then any golfers can use two-seater or single seat buggies.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of the course from the clubhouse, bar snacks and meals are available in the Bars and Lounges while formal dining is available upstairs. Please note that unfortunately there's no disabled access to the upper dining room at the moment but meals and drinks can be taken downstairs.
The course takes players away from the clubhouse after the first 9 holes so players should stock up on refreshments from the Pro's Shop before play or later from the Hollinwell Halt by the 9th tee. Please check if the Halt is open to avoid disappointment.
On the way round be sure to sample the fresh spring water from the famous Holy Well, located by the yellow tee on the 8th hole.
Toilet facilities are also available at the Hollinwell Halt, players will require an access code from the Pro's Shop.
All visitors are required to show a valid handicap certificate before playing at Hollinwell. If you are in any doubt please discuss with our golf professional at the time of making your booking.
